We’re home! After a little bit of a scare, we are finally here.
Jen’s discharge was put on hold earlier today. Thought we might have to stay at the hospital another day. Jen had a slight fever this morning, with an elevated heart rate (around 120 bpm). Internal medicine ordered blood work and a chest X-ray. Jen’s white blood cell count was elevated, 11 (up from 8 yesterday).
Jen’s fever went down on its own (with the help of 1000 mg of Tylenol). After results from a chest X-ray, blood work and one or two other tests, Infectious Disease signed off on her discharge this afternoon.
Jen’s nurse helped to arrange a private ride home, in one of the hospitals wheelchair transports.
Welcomed by friends and neighbors, we are home, and settled in.
Jen is sleeping.
So happy to hear you guys are back home!!!! Best medicine!
Also prayers answered on the bone scan, thank the lord! Now you guys can move forward!! Continued thoughts and prayers, love you guys!
Yay home and sleep! So glad for the private ride home and all the progress 🙂
