Enduring Memory

Jennifer and I worked around one another but never directly with one another. My enduring memory of her will be a chance encounter at the National Gallery of Art. I’d come to a press preview of a Tintoretto exhibition on a whim; she’d come as a dedicated artist. Late in the event we spied one another and had a gab amid the masterpieces. Her vivid comments immensely deepened my appreciation for the artist and his oeuvre and for her insights.
