15 Minutes

Jen’s new biopsy prep began around 12:45 this afternoon.

Her procedure (an image guided needle extraction) will be done by interventional radiologist, Dr. Allen Joseph. Jen will be under twilight anesthesia. The extraction will take 10 to 15 minutes. The prep will take about an hour, and it will be another hour to recover when it’s done.

If all goes well, Jen will wake up with a bandaid at the extraction site.

Hopefully, the new sample will give us some of the answers we need.
