Jen’s biopsy went well. Hopefully they have usable cells from the tumor to work with in pathology.
Dr. Angitipalli started Jen on a unit of blood before the procedure. Jen had her nurse at her side when transport arrived, “Mary Jo went down with me because the blood transfusion wasn’t finished yet. Jeremiah the therapy dog stopped by for a few minutes before my ride came, so I was able to scratch his chin and say hello.”
Once Jen arrived at IR, Tuba took her vitals. Then Katy and Jessica got her prepped. It didn’t take Dr. Joseph long to extract the sample.
Jen was famished when she got back 2-1/2 hours later.
“So hungry (nothing to eat since last night around 7), so I ordered lunch before getting back to my room, only to find out I have to stay in bed for the next hour and a half. Oh well, I’ll make it work.” 😊
We expect to have results from the biopsy in 7 to 10 days.
Sounds as if it went well. Crossing fingers that they got a great sample!
Glad it went well. 😘❤️💕

Jen & Stephen,
I sit here every evening and admire how so very strong you two are to go through this together but apart. You are both amazing. I remember a blog 10 years ago that connected me with my friends and family from a distance. Peace and grace to you both and to the extended family. Lots of love.
I’m glad Jen is doing well And positive.
I’m continue to pray for her. 🙏🏽🌺
Certainly hope they got what they need this time LOL so you can go home and be comfortable. You are always in our thoughts!! ❤️Johnny and Jill
