Good Wishes

Over the 4th of July weekend we had a lot help from friends and neighbors. Groceries and meals were delivered, errands run, a handrail built and installed (so Jen can more easily get in and out of the house), we had home care assistance, flowers and coffees dropped off and lots of good wishes and healing energy.

  • So happy to hear all the acts of kindness the two of you are receiving, true friends step up in difficult times. Hopefully soon your pain will subside and your strength regains. I’ll share a moment I had over the weekend. Dana and I were shopping and I picked up a watermelon and a honeydew and was carrying them to the cashier, when a women passed me starring at the melons. I felt like saying my eyes are up here. Hope that helps a little will share more when it happens.

  • HI THERE!
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY, SORRY I’M LATE. BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! SO VERY GLAD THAT YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE SO HELPFUL. THAT TAKES A LOT OFF OF YOUR MIND WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO COOK AND GO GROCERY SHOPPING. I KNOW THAT WEARS ME OUT. ESPECIALLY WHEN I CAN’T GET A WHEELCHAIR SHOPPING CART. IN RULLI’S THEY DON’T HAVE ANY SO I HAVE TO USE A REGULAR CART AND I AM TOTALLY WHIPPED BY THE TIME I GET DONE. BUT YOU HAVE TO GO WHERE THE BARGAINS ARE. I LIKED STEVE’S LITTLE JOKE! HE WAS A BIG INSPIRATION TO ME WHEN I WAS GOING THROUGH ALL OF MY MEDICAL ISSUES IN 2018. HE WOULD MAKE A GOOD MOTIVATION SPEAKER. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND STAY STRONG AND GOD BE WITH YOU AND STEPHEN!
    LOVE YOU!
    AUNT JOANNE
