Home! Jen is home! She was discharged at 6:30 pm today. Three weeks to the day. Jen left the care of the amazing doctors, awesome nurses, great techs and friendly faces of 41 North. Much love from “23!”
Thank you to our friends and family. Thank you for helping to get Jen home. Thank you for your words of encouragement, cheers, for all the times you made her smile, and especially for making her laugh. You have been there for her in all the ways she’s needed you. Thank you.
Jen’s home care begins today. Thank you to our friends and neighbors who welcomed her home. Thank you for running errands, delivering delicious meals, mowing our yard, helping to get the house ready, taking care of our puppy, and for making Jen feel loved.

Seeing that one word makes me happier than words can even express. Happy that you’re healthy and stable enough that they don’t need to monitor you constantly. Happy that you get to finally be home. Happy that you and Stephen finally get to be together and get and give the support to each other that you were deprived of for three horrific weeks. Doing a happy dance over here in OH for sure. Love you, love you, love you!!!
