No real news today. Except that we continue to ride the waves. Although Jen had one of her “better night’s sleep,” her pain management remains a problem.
Jen’s “resting” pain level is a “5,” with occasional dips down to a “3,” or “4.” On bad nights she’s still dealing with spikes as high as “8” and “10.”
Dr. Siddiqui increased the dosage of one of her pain meds last week, and we are incorporating suggestions from Jen’s in-home nurse and physical therapist. We’ve seen some improvements, but pain management is still our biggest challenge.
It has to be so tough at times. Can’t wait till you are past the pain, Jennifer.
I can’t imagine how difficult it must be dealing with the pain. Just know that I’m rooting for you to get through to the next stage. Love you, girlfriend! ❤️😊
Just keep taking those deep breaths and going to your happy place. Wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all go away.
Thinking of you both from Arizona. Keep going strong in the midst of the waves! I can’t imagine what you both are going through. BUT It is so lovely to hear how wonderful your neighbors, doctors and friends have been such a support – such kindred spirits. The compassion, strength and caring you have shared here in your blog is such an encouragement. Sending huge warm hugs, from both Ronan and I! 🌵🌸🌞
I will pray for your pain is gone! 🙏🏽
