Jen’s occupational therapist, Megan came by today.
She talked to Jen about ways to prevent twisting, bending and lifting while she recovers from her spinal surgery — how to shower safely, get her socks on and off, put her shoes on, and other everyday tasks. Then she showed Jen how to use a few devices that will make doing those things easier.
They also talked about equipment we will need for the house while Jen recovers. When they finished, Megan helped Jen up and the two of them went for a walk around the hospital floor.
Jen’s surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning, at 8:30.
Glad you got to rest before your next surgery! And great pick on the movie —princess bride-love it.
