Jen had a good night. Though a little sore, she woke alert and feisty.
We met with Dr. Shasti this morning. He was very pleased with how Jen has responded to the surgery. He wants her mobile. His directive: “walk, walk, walk.”
Jen’s lungs are a little weak. She has some tightness when she inhales. She’s using the incentive spirometer to build up her strength.
After a walk with her physical therapist later in the day, Jen felt off. Her blood pressure dropped to 90/73, and her heart rate went up to 115.
Shasti wants her to take it easy now, and he ordered the nurses to keep an eye on her.
Her vitals are improving, blood pressure 110/71, and heart rate 104 bpm.
Rest. Breathe. We think Jen over did it a little today, and needs to let her body catch up.
Every battle is being hard fought. Pace yourself and keep up your strength to win the war. As always, love, hugs, prayers, good vibes and all that other good stuff coming your way.
JENNIFER, HANG IN THERE KID-O! TAKE IT ONE STEP AT A TIME. SLOW AND STEADY DOES IT!
WE ARE ALL PRAYING FOR YOU TO HAVE A COMPLETE RECOVERY! BLESS YOU! LOVE AUNT JOANNE
& UNCLE DENNY.
I know she wants to tear right at it! In the long run, that will serve her well! But rest a bit, Jennifer! You have endured a lot but are doing well!
Good news. Get some rest! Plenty of time to walk and walk and walk! Mia is waiting for you to take her on one, no doubt! 🙂 Glad to hear you haven’t lost your feisty. ;P That will get you through! Have a great night!
God’s Grace…You are strong. Awesomely strong, quite frankly. You got this. By the way, I picked a basil leaf from my little herb garden tonight and you know what I added that to, grapefruit juice!
