Nutrition. Ambulate. Sleep. Dr. Shasti wants Jen to focus on these three things, to speed her recovery.
The nutritionist would like Jen on the Mediterranean diet — fresh whole foods, fish, poultry, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nut and seeds and olive oil.
Dr. Shasti wants Jen to supplement her diet with protein shakes, to accelerate wound and bone healing.
Walk. Walk. Walk. Shasti says this along with rest and sleeping through the night are key to Jen’s recovery.
He wants Jen healed, healthy and able to start cancer treatments as soon as Fourth of July. 🇺🇸

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD PLAN TO ME. I’M SURE THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET IS A GOOD ONE. I’M NOT ONE FOR FOLLOWING DIETS, (THAT’S WHY I’M SO FAT!) ALWAYS SEEMED LIKE TOO MUCH TO EAT.
