Itโs the little things… like being able to wash your own hair. So, after a good visit from the in-home nurse this morning, I was very excited to move on to โshower day.โ The ladies out there will understand ๐
After lunch, it was time to take the Spinalogic Bone Growth Stimulator for a test drive. Dr. Shasti wanted me to start using this cool little device (that looks like a mini steering wheel) asap after being released from the hospital.
The device is designed to create a magnetic field (around the area where I had surgery) that stimulates my bones to heal.
Dr. Shasti wants my bones as strong as possible before I start radiation and chemo. The treatments that attack the cancer cells will also weaken my bone cells.
Ha! I read the title and thought you were going to divulge where the bodies were buried or some skeletons from your closet ๐คฃ๐๐ You got this, Jen! BTWโyour Italy pics on the blog are FABULOUS! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
