Yesterday’s session (Jen’s fifth) seemed a little different. “Normally, the radiation is over so quickly that I don’t know it’s happened. But yesterday was the opposite. Transferring to the table seemed quick, but the radiation process reminded me of a scene from “War of the Worlds.” That part where people were being zapped out their clothing by the Tripods. I swear I could feel heat in my hips. 

Or maybe it was all in my head… “

Transport will pick Jen up later this afternoon and take her down for her last radiation session in this round (her 6th fraction).

Thanks again to our friends and angels who did so much heavy lifting (figuratively and literally) for us this past week.

For delivering wonderful meals, and caring for our puppy. For managing so many moving parts, including getting me safely to and from the hospital (when I was too tired to do it myself).

And not the least of which was doing all of the work getting a critical piece of furniture for Jen’s recovery picked out, purchased, delivered to the house and set up.

And thank you for continuing to share your encouragement and healing energy through the loving messages you leave for both Jen and I.

We know how lucky we are. We love you and are profoundly grateful.
