Jen is in the hospital. She is going to have surgery to save the use of her legs. What we thought was back strain turned out to be a mass compressing her T12 vertebrae, completely destroying it. The mass, we would later learn, was a tumor that spread from a larger mass near her kidney. The Doctors are still trying to determine the scope of the disease, but they have found signs of it in other parts of her body.
