Jennifer is out of surgery. In Dr. Shasti’s words, “everything went fantastic, it went better than well.” During the operation, they were monitoring the nerves in her spine. After taking the pressure off her spinal cord, there was improvement in the signals. An unexpected plus. She is still in the O.R. We are waiting for her to wake. When she does, Jen will be taken to ICU where she will be watched very closely.
This was the most delicate and dangerous part of Jen’s spinal surgery, and “all went perfectly.”
