Discharge. It’s the only word on anyone’s mind. Jen is getting excellent care from all of her teams. Her nurses, Internal Medicine, Surgical, Anesthesiology, and Palliative doctors have been great. But the only word on their minds now, is the big “D.”
The only things in the way are the results from ultrasounds of both Jen’s legs (to rule out blood clots), getting some of the excess fluid off her lower body, getting her surgical pain under control, a sign-off from physical therapy and a scan of her left shoulder.
Jen injured her shoulder weeks ago. It’s not getting better. Out of caution, Dr. Wodajo ordered X-rays and a bone scan of the joint.
I hope you can do PT at home. That’s your safe place. ❤️❤️❤️ Love you, girlfriend!
We’ve been following your progress through your mom’s texts to us! It was so wonderful that your mother could spend time with you both to help you heal.Hoping all goes well so you can get home as soon as possible! Thinking of you all the time-love Johnny and Jill
Praying that the shoulder isn’t anything serious that will keep you from getting home or needing another procedure. Deep breaths. Happy place. You are loved. ❤️
